What are the main objectives of this experience?
- To build intercultural communication skills by partnering with an international student.
- To acquire digital communication skills.
- To connect with students from another country (and perhaps form new friendships!).
- To learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that relate directly to chemistry.
- To encourage creativity and initiative to finding solutions to issues that affect society through chemistry.
- To develop cultural sensitivity to better understand individuals from another culture and build skills to attain cultural competence.

What skills will have been acquired at the end of this activity?
Upon completion of this project, students will be able to:
- Navigate through shared problems and be able to agree on a team response (consensus) using synchronous and asynchronous approaches.
- Critically and politely (be aware of intercultural communication) engage on ideas shared amongst the international collaborators.
- Develop social skills that aids in maintaining healthy long distance collaborations.
- Manage their workloads while working on different timelines.
- Use their chemistry background to tackle Sustainable Development Goals and apply their knowledge to solve issues that affect society.
- Develop digital literacy applied to international teamwork.
